USDA OrganicU.S. Department of Agriculture
Under the US Department of Agriculture’s National Organic Program, our organic formulas have been evaluated and our procedures and facilities inspected by their accredited agency, Quality Assurance International (QAI). They have issued us Certificate # C0065949-NOPHPC-7, documenting that we are in full compliance and that our ingredients are produced by approved organic agriculture practices. This certification is the same one issued to organic food producers.
NSF International/ANSI 305:The Public Health and Safety Organization
The NSF/ANSI 305 is an American National Standard written specifically for personal care products containing organic ingredients. The standard establishes the materials, processes, production criteria, conditions and labeling claims for personal care products claiming to "contain organics content." To be certified, all formulas must contain a minimum of 70% organic content. Our products are certified to the NSF/ANSI 305 Standard by Quality Assurance International (QAI). They have issued our certificate #C0065949-NSF3HNPC-1, documenting our compliance with those regulations.
Made in CaliforniaCOPA - California Organic Products Act
The State of California has its own, unique program for regulating the producers of organic products. Because we’re proud to be Californians and conduct all of our manufacturing here, we’ve also been inspected by the Food and Drug Branch of the California Department of Public Health, and have been issued their Organic Processed Product Registration #54811. We also try to source locally, using the products of California’s extensive organic agriculture whenever available.
FDAFood and Drug Administration
The US Food and Drug Administration has final regulatory authority over food, drugs and cosmetics. We have registered as establishment #E1003184 under their Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program and, because some of our products are classified as OTC drugs, we’ve also registered with the FDA’s Drug Division as establishment #3006185812.
